The Caretaker, 2025

The Caretaker is careful to preserve the condition of moments and unremarked upon things that are lost against institutional structures. Such material environments make us what we think we are and have long since began to constitute who we actually are.

The Caretaker is removed from moments, as a curator or cleaner, student or mother, consumer or spectator – all witnessing varying states of incompleteness.

The Caretaker is haunted by work and home. The home is indeed a powerful object. One must slow down and learn to take care of things again.
